It made sense based on our previous experience building a company in San Francisco. We did not want to go through the same hassle and decided to jump on remote work cold.

Give examples of work you have done without supervision. Explain clearly your thought process when you have challenges working on projects and how would you tackle it. Show that you don't need handholding but that you are confident and capable to get things done as expected or being proactive when there are any issues.

How does your remote company's hiring process for remote jobs look like?

Video call is next. If we like the candidate and have someone from the team nearby we will arrange an interview lunch (Not key but a nice to do when possible).

How do you onboard new remote team members?

We train them on our SOPs and set clear expectations. For one month they will work very closely with another employee to answer any questions and ramp up.
